The Companyâs Garden is the oldest garden in South Africa, established on 29 April 1652 by the Dutch East India Company.  Located in the heart of Cape Townâs Central Business District (CBD), it lies just south of where Jan van Riebeeck and his crew first landed. Originally created as a vegetable garden to supply fresh produce to passing ships and the fledgling colony, it became self-sustaining by 1653.
Today, it is a 3.2-hectare public park and national heritage site, operated by the City of Cape Town.  The garden features historic landmarks such as:

Kloof Corner is an iconic Table Mountain hike, short and too the point. It takes around 20 minutes to get to the top. With phenomenal views of the city, Lions Head and The Twelve Apostles. Itâs a great spot for sundowners, so aim to get there around 7:30
